According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan want to go toe to toe with Manchester United in going after the signing of Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik. The Polish forward is considered to be a hot prospect, with many top clubs around European football being interested in making a move to sign him.
He is currently valued at around €60 million, but Napoli are still contemplating whether or not to put him up for sale.
If they do then they’ll obviously need to have some plans put in place for a replacement or two, and while Inter have been pretty active in letting the world know who they want to sign during the summer, it isn’t quite going to be that easy.
United have also been on a great run of form as of late and if they secure Champions League football in time for next season, that could swing things back in their favour.
