According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan are interested in the possibility of signing Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic. His contract is set to expire during next year’s summer transfer window, with the belief being that he would be interested in reuniting with Antonio Conte who he spent time with at Premier League side Chelsea.
Matic has slowly been working his way back into the mix in the United starting XI, but even with that being the case, he’s still not a regular starter for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian certainly hasn’t been shy about getting rid of players that aren’t considered to be amongst his most important players within the squad, but one way or another, Matic’s potential departure would cause a big stir amongst the fanbase.
The Serbian was once considered to be one of the most impressive midfielders in world football, and certainly the Premier League, but that isn’t the case anymore.
