According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan are contemplating a move to sign Liverpool striker Divock Origi this summer.
The Belgian’s contract with the Reds isn’t set to expire until June 2024 but unfortunately for him, he hasn’t quite been able to put his best foot forward this season – in fact, quite the opposite has happened.
He’s suffered a dramatic decline in form to the point where it’s hard to see where his next goal is going to come from. Some will say he’s always going to be a useful forward to have coming off the bench, whereas others don’t think he’s at the level he needs to be to continue playing for Liverpool Football Club.
It goes without saying that he’ll never have to buy a drink on Merseyside again after his heroics in the 2019 UEFA Champions League final but beyond that, it may be time to say goodbye.
