Inter Milan want to sack Conte?

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan want to sack Antonio Conte – but are unable to do so right now.

The reason for that is simple: they cannot afford to because of the pandemic. Inter may well be one of the biggest clubs in European football but that doesn’t mean they haven’t also been hit hard, with finances being affected pretty much universally.

Antonio Conte has always been viewed as something of a controversial figure and over the last few years, that hasn’t really changed. Sure, Inter have been able to have a few moments in the spotlight, but they’re largely still trailing behind Juventus in the push for the Serie A title.

Still, they’re only five points behind city rivals AC Milan who currently reside at the top of the table, which leads many to believe that Conte should be given time to turn things around this season.
