According to reports in Italy, Inter Milan are interested in signing Lucas Tousart from Lyon. The Italian club are hellbent on acquiring a defensive midfielder, in order to fill the void they have in that position. Tousart, who is also being scouted by Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, has been tipped for superstardom and at the age of 21 there’s plenty of time for him to grow as a player.
The club’s sporting director is confident that he’ll fit Inter’s system perfectly, with his price tag being around €35 million. Tousart has been with Lyon since 2015 when he made the switch over from Valenciennes, and while he is yet to make an appearance for the French senior team, he certainly has what it takes to become a big player for Les Bleus one day.
Lyon and Inter Milan are both off to great starts in the Champions League this season, beating Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
