Inter Milan wonderkid to stay

Davide Santon’s agent insists the 19-year-old wing-back has no plans to leave Inter Milan at the end of the season.

The youngster has been linked with a move to Fiorentina as Inter Milan have been linked with a move for Viola defender Juan Vargas.

“I categorically deny that Santon will leave Inter, even for a loan spell,” Renzo Contratto told Violanews.it.

“Davide is a talented player, who will do very well at Inter.

“He will be an integral part of the team from next season onwards.

“There is no problem with regards to getting game time, and if it wasn’t for his injury, he would have played a lot.

“I don’t know where these rumours begin, but this one has no basis whatsoever.”
