Inter Milan’s Carvalho link returns

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Sporting Lisbon‘s grip on midfielder William Carvalho continues to loosen with the likes of Inter Milan and Everton showing serious interest. The 26-year-old has been an impressive force over in Portugal this season, and while many people know his name, few can truly appreciate what he brings to any given team. His composure on the ball and determination in protecting the back four makes him an extremely valuable asset, and Inter, in particular, can sense that.

Inter continue to restructure their midfield as they prepare for their return to the UEFA Champions League, and it seems as if they want Carvalho to be an integral part of that operation. The Italians have been linked with him for a while now, but it seems as if they’re starting to become more serious when it comes to negotiations. While the Toffees are still interested, Inter are said to be the ones leading the way.
