Serie A giants Inter Milan are not giving up on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Etienne Capoue, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio has travelled to London to wrap up the deal for Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic.
He will also use the opportunity to make a check on long-term target Etienne Capoue as Tottenham face Dnipro in the Europa League Last 32 stage.
Inter have been hot on the trail of the Frenchman for a while now but they will have to make a considerable effort in order to lure the midfielder to Giuseppe Meazza given that he only arrived at White Hart Lane in the summer.
Nevertheless, it is believed Capoue can be purchased for around €14 million and the Italian giants would gladly meet the asking price.
Inter face Roma at Stadio Olimpico in a high-profile clash on Saturday, with the Nerazzurri available at 9/2 to claim maximum points.
