Inter officials arrive for Lukaku talks

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Inter Milan’s sporting director Piero Ausilio has arrived in the United Kingdom in order to commence talks with Manchester United over a possible deal for Romelu Lukaku. The talks were initially set to take place later on this week, but now, will get underway today. Lukaku’s proposed move from Old Trafford to the San Siro has been in the works for quite some time now, but at this stage, it really does seem like a matter of when and not if. The Belgian forward has had some bright moments during his time with United, but in the end, he hasn’t been able to become the franchise goalscorer that many fans expected him to be.

Whether or not he returns to the Premier League in the future is another question altogether, but given his age, he’s certainly got a long career ahead of him one way or the other.
