According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan are prepared to listen to offers for Denzel Dumfries this summer.
Apparently, the Netherlands international would be open to joining Manchester United, and reports in England suggest a move to Old Trafford would be possible if Erik ten Hag remains in the dugout there.
Dumfries has made 29 Serie A appearances as Inter charged towards the Scudetto this season, but only 18 of those as a starter, and he completed the full 90 minutes just five times. The 28-year-old right-back has three goals and five assists in the league to his name.
Dumfries’ form hasn’t been great lately, but with his contract about to enter its final year, the Nerazzurri have tried to get him to sign a new deal. However, the negotiations have been described as “complicated”, and pessimism has arisen within the club concerning the way they’re expected to end.
Inter are believed to be looking to get their transfer business done on a zero-spend policy this summer, which means they’ll need to sell in order to buy.
