Sampdoria hotshot Mauro Icardi could be joining Inter next summer, La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed.
With Philippe Coutinho set to complete his move to Liverpool, the Neroazzurri have finally raised enough money for a final assault on Conrinthians midfielder Paulinho, who is expected to arrive at Giuseppe Meazza before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
However, while the club officials are working on that deal, they are also thinking about summer reinforcements.
La Gazzetta dello Sport has suggested that Inter are prepared to offer around €10 million for Sampdoria striker Mauro Icardi.
Icardi, 19, was thrown into the fire by Doria boss Ciro Ferrara after Maxi Lopez picked up an injury and he went on to score no less than 7 goals in 16 Serie A appearances.
His four goals against Pescara proved the player is ready for a big club move, and Inter are already working on luring the Argentine to Giuseppe Meazza for the 2013/2014 season.
