Inter prepare summer clearout

Sky Sport Italia is reporting that Inter Milan plan to offload several senior players in the summer in order to make way for new signings.

Latest media reports have suggested that veteran defender Walter Samuel is set to leave the Nerazzurri when his contract expires at the end of the season, but few more experienced players could follow.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the likes of Diego Milito, Javier Zanetti and Esteban Cambiasso are all expected to quit Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in the summer.

The same report has revealed that Esteban Cambiasso could remain at the club, but only in case he agrees a significant pay cut to his €4.5 million yearly wage.

A major squad rebuilding appears to be on the horizon, with new owner Erick Thohir expected to make considerable transfer funds available for new players.

Inter face a high-profile tie against top 3 rivals Fiorentina on Saturday and the Nerazzurri are 23/10 to win at Artemio Franchi.
