Inter Milan have failed in their quest to win the Serie A title and stop Juventus’ hegemony, but that was not never going to be easy for Antonio Conte’s side, especially during his first season at the club. Now the Italian and former Juventus head coach will try to improve his squad over the summer.
Some signings, such as that of Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid, have already happened, but more will be needed. For that to become a reality, Inter will also have to raise some cash. According to Calciomercato, they plan to do so by selling Matias Vecino. They are reporting that the Italian giants will sanction the 28-year-old’s departure only if their asking price is met this summer.
And that transfer valuation is set at 25 million euros. Since the restart of Serie A, Vecino has played just two minutes and it will be interesting to see how realistic Inter’s plans are.
