Il Corriere dello Sport has learned that Inter Milan have reached an agreement over personal terms with Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski.
The Nerazzurri have been in contact with the striker’s agents for a while and they seem to have persuaded the Germany star to move to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
They are obviously yet to strike an agreement with the Gunners, although a six-month loan deal appears on the cards.
Inter would be ready to include an €8 million buy-out clause in the agreement, while they would not pay more than €5m or €6m in case they are obligated to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Roberto Mancini is desperate to add a high-quality forward to his ranks in January and it appears he is set to get his man.
Lukas Podolski, 29, has endured a difficult season at the Emirates, having only made seven substitute appearances in English Premier League.
