Inter readying bid for Moutinho
Inter Milan are hot on the trail of Monaco star Joao Moutinho, Journal du Dimanche has moved to suggest.
The Nerazzurri recently recruited Geoffrey Kondogbia from Stade Louis II for staggering €40 million and they now seem ready to pay top dollar for his former teammate as well.
According to Journal du Dimanche, Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini hopes to lure Joao Moutinho to Stade Giuseppe Meazza, and the Italian side seem to have no problem with the €25 million asking price.
The Nerazzurri will probably offload Fredy Guarin this summer and they want the Portugal hotshot to pull the strings in midfield next season.
Joao Moutinho has been on the radar of Europe’s top sides even before he joined Monaco, and there is a chance he will be leaving this summer.
The 28-year-old has managed a total of 6 goals and 16 assists in 86 competitive appearances for the Principality club.
Atletico close on River starlet
Argentine daily newspaper Ole has learned that Atletico Madrid are very close to signing River Plate midfielder Matias Kranevitter.
Los Colchoneros have been keeping close tabs on the 22-year-old for quite a while and even if they initially wanted to sign him this summer and then loan him back to the Millionaires for six months, coach Diego Simeone now plans to incorporate the youngster into his squad as early as possible.
Atletico Madrid are on the verge of agreeing an €8 million deal with River Plate, although the transfer could also depend on the Argentine side’s results in Copa Libertadores.
The Millionaires are set to face Guarani in the semi-finals, and, as things stand now, they will only hold on to Kranevitter if they win the coveted title and take part at the Club World Cup in December.
Matias Kranevitter came through the youth ranks at Monumental, and went on to make 51 league appearances for the Argentine giants.
He now looks set to move to Atletico Madrid, where he will have a very good opportunity to continue his development.
PSG eyeing Hachim Mastour
French giants Paris Saint-Germain are set to launch an assault on AC Milan midfielder Hachim Mastour, according to L’Equipe.
The Saints do want to attract the world’s best footballers to Parc des Princes, but they are also looking towards the future.
As a result, PSG seem ready to try and recruit Hachim Mastour, one of AC Milan’s hottest prospects.
The Saints reportedly aim to test the Rossoneri’s resolve with a €5 million proposal and the Italian club are expected to seriously consider any offer that arrives.
Despite showing a great deal of potential playing for club’s youth sides, Mastour has yet to be handed his first team debut at San Siro.
The Moroccan made six appearances for Italy Under-16 side before switching his allegiance to the country of his parents, and he was handed his national team debut in June 2015.
