Inter Milan appear to have reignited their interest in Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri attempted to recruit the Ivorian superstar last summer, but the 32-year-old eventually decided to remain at Etihad.
However, with Pep Guardiola set to arrive at Manchester City, Toure is almost certain to leave next summer, and Inter are ready to try and lure him to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Even though the veteran midfielder will also have offers from the MLS and China, the Nerazzurri hope he will decide to continue playing at the highest level.
Having reportedly reached an agreement with Sevilla playmaker Ever Banega, Inter would have a formidable team if Toure also joins Roberto Mancini’s ranks.
The Italian giants plan to recruit few more high-profile players as well, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Andre Ayew, Roberto Soriano and Pablo Zabaleta all on their radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
