Inter Milan are ready to launch a new assault on Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia, La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed.
The Nerazzurri officials have been working on reinforcements for the 2013/2014 season for a while now, with Marco Andreolli, Hugo Campagnaro, Ruben Botta and Diego Laxalt already agreeing a switch to Giuseppe Meazza.
Inter hope to recruit few more players in the summer transfer window, and they are again being linked with Anderlecht’s Lucas Biglia.
The Nerazzurri attempted to sign the midfielder in January 2012, but without success, although they have now reignited their interest.
Anderlecht recently revealed that the player would be available for mere €5.5 million in the summer transfer window, which is well within Inter’s price range.
Biglia, 27, has been a key player for the Belgian giants during the past few years and it appears his wish to join a top European club is finally going to materialize.
