Inter Milan aim to put together a squad capable of challenging for the Serie A title, according to vice-president Javier Zanetti.
The Nerazzurri have enjoyed a disappointing season under Roberto Mancini, but they hope a heavy investment in the playing squad in the summer will produce results.
Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti has now spoken about club’s main targets and revealed that the likes of Paulo Dybala, Yaya Toure and Thiago Motta are all on their radar.
“(Paulo) Dybala I know well and he would be a good partner for (Mauro) Icardi,” Zanetti confessed to Il Corriere dello Sport.
“(Roberto) Mancini knows Yaya Toure very well. It would be a good signing because he is a champion and he could help us with his personality.
“Thiago Motta returning would be a good thing because he is very strong. He has demonstrated his value, both at Inter and at PSG. In football anything can happen.”
It is no secret that Inter Milan have emerged as the favourites to sign Yaya Toure, who is almost certain to leave Manchester City this summer according to his agent.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri would face stiff competition for Paulo Dybala, as the Argentine is being linked with just about every top European side.
Thiago Motta is another player that could be moving to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, that is if he decides to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
