Serie A giants Inter have confirmed reports they are following Torino defender Angelo Ogbonna and Pescara midfielder Juan Quintero.
The Neroazzurri have been linked to the two players in the past and reports have now received official confirmation.
Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has confirmed that the club could soon make a move for Torino stopper Angelo Ogbonna.
“Between Angelo Ogbonna, Vlad Chiriches and Igor Lichnovsky the one who is most ready is certainly Ogbonna,” Ausilio told Inter Channel.
Angelo Ogbonna is widely regarded as one of the most talented defenders in Italy, although Torino’s €20 million valuation could prove to be an obstacle to any deal.
Ausilio also said that Inter had made a move for Juan Quintero, even before he joined Pescara and could now return for the highly rated midfielder.
“In the midfield I will only talk about Quintero, because I have already mentioned this player.
“We did try an approach with him, but the problem with young talents who have foreign passports is you have to make choices tied to that particular moment.”
The Colombian has been the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing campaign for Pescara and he is tipped to leave the club for greener pastures at the end of the season.
Inter sporting director listed Lazar Markovic, Rogelio Funes Mori, Sebastian Jung and Giuseppe Rossi as club’s other targets.
