Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed that Inter Milan are planning a heavy recruitment in the January transfer window.
With Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir finally completing club takeover, he is set to show his ambition by allocating significant transfer funds for the next two windows.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri have already outlined the list of potential targets.
Given that Walter Samuel and Cristian Chivu are set to leave when their contracts expire at the end of the season, Inter are keeping close tabs on Fabian Schar, Kurt Zouma, Emiliano Insua and Alex Sandro.
When it comes to the centre of the park, the Nerazzurri are expected to make a move on long-term target Fernando, while they are also showing interest in Marco Verratti and Granit Xhaka.
Meanwhile, there are unlikely to be too many attacking reinforcements, although Inter continue to be linked with Rodrigo Moreno and Abel Hernandez.
Considering the circumstances, this may be the right time to back Inter to achieve a top 3 finish at odds of 5/2.
