Inter Milan have set the price for Romelu Lukaku, according to Corriere dello Sport. Any club interested in securing his services will have to part with the sum of €120 million.
The Suning Holding Goup, who own the Serie A club, have been hit heavily by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and they’re looking for potential buyers for some of their shares. The prospective partner would also have to invest into the club. But until financial stability is achieved in that way, Inter will have to generate some funds through selling a few of their top players.
Manchester City and Barcelona are both reportedly keen to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, but both are looking at Lukaku as an excellent alternative. The 27-year-old Belgium international has 59 goals in 85 appearances for the Nerazzurri so far.
However, €120m seems a bit steep for Lukaku in the current financial climate, and if Inter are indeed prepared to sell, they will have to be open to negotiations about the sum.
