Serie A fallen giants Inter continue to rebuild their squad as they aim to get back to the top of Italian football.
One of the latest names to be linked with the Nerazzurri is Sapdoria forward Patrik Schick, who is being lined up as a backup for Mauro Icardi and as a potential long-term replacement for the captain.
According to reports from the Italian news outlet Tuttosport, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has met with the player’s representative earlier in the week in order to discuss a possible summer move to Inter.
Inter are believed to be pushing hard for the transfer of player who arrived to Sampdoria frlom Sparta Prague last summer.
The 21-year-old has so far bagged 8 goals in just five starts and 16 substitute appearances for his club.
His qualities have impressed Nerazzurri, who are readying a summer bid for Sampdoria, knowing that prizing the last summer’s arrival away from Blaucherchiati will not be easy.
