Portuguese media outlet O Jogo has learned that Inter Milan have agreed to sign talented youngster Jose Correia from Sporting Lisbon.
The 18-year-old joins the Serie A side on a free transfer given that he was on a youth contract at Estadio Jose Alvalade.
Correia had been offered a five-year professional contract by the Lions, but he rejected it and has been absent from training since early December.
The youngster has now accepted an offer from Inter Milan and is set to be added to the squad at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
The forward will be leaving the Lions without making a single senior appearance for the club, although he did feature in five UEFA Youth League fixtures, scoring three goals in the process.
His new club Inter Milan currently occupy 11th position in the Serie A standings, but the Nerazzurri can be backed at 14/1 to achieve a top 3 finish.
