Inter Milan have submitted a first proposal for Lazio forward Balde Diao Keita, according to Mediaset.
The Nerazzurri offered €22 million plus another €3m in bonuses, only to see their bid rejected by the Biancocelesti.
Lazio are prepared to negotiate the sale due to the fact that the striker only has one more year left on his contract, but they want more money for their prized asset.
Meanwhile, Keita was offered a deal worth €3 million per campaign and he prefers staying in Italian Serie A according to reports.
The Senegalese forward has so far rejected approaches from Liverpool and Monaco as he has no plans to leave Italy this summer.
Keita was in fine form last season, scoring 16 goals in 31 Serie A games as he established a great partnership with Ciro Immobile.
