Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has revealed that Inter Milan have made Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi their number one target.
With Diego Milito struggling through injury and summer signing Ishak Belfodil failing to make expected impact, the Nerazzurri are in the market for a high-profile forward.
And according to Tuttosport they are set to reignite their interest in long-term target Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The good news is that the Argentine is keen to return to Italian Serie A and is tempted by the new project at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, but persuading PSG to sell might prove to be a difficult task.
However, unless Lavezzi manages to play himself back into the first team plans of Saints boss Laurent Blanc, it is expected that he will be leaving the club in January.
Inter Milan currently sit just two points behind third-placed Napoli, with the Nerazzurri priced at 15/8 for a top 3 finish.
