Italian giants Inter Milan are stepping up their efforts to sign Stevan Jovetic and Domagoj Vida, Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested.
The Nerazzurri are in the market for attacking reinforcements and it is now clear that the Manchester City forward has emerged as their primary target.
With Jovetic likely to be available for sale in the summer, Inter are desperate to lure him to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
As a result, coach Roberto Mancini and sporting director Piero Ausilio were at Artemio Franchi yesterday evening to speak to Jovetic’s agent Fali Ramadani.
At the same time, the Nerazzurri made another check on Dynamo Kiev defender Domagoj Vida, who could be moving to Inter as well.
The versatile defender should be available for some €10 million and the Serie A side will probably make a move if they manage to offload Nemanja Vidic, who is being linked with a return to Spartak Moscow.
