Serie A giants Inter Milan are stepping up their efforts to sign Montenegrin forward Stevan Jovetic from Manchester City, Tuttosport has suggested.
The Nerazzurri hope to keep hold of star striker Mauro Icardi, but are also on the lookout for another attack-minded footballer.
Inter appear to have made Manchester City’s Stevan Jovetic their primary target and they do have a good chance of wrapping up the deal.
While the Citizens will probably not stand in the player’s way of leaving in search of first team football, the forward himself is ready to return to Italy and wouldn’t mind joining the Nerazzurri.
Long-term admirers Juventus could also make a move on the player who had bagged 35 goals in 116 Serie A outings for Fiorentina.
Having failed to win any of their last seven matches in all competitions, Inter Milan are available at 6/5 to defeat Hellas Verona on the road.
