Turin-based Tuttosport has learned that Inter Milan are planning an assault on Roma striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.
Walter Mazzarri has been trying to sign a high-profile attacker from the start of the transfer window, but while Ishak Belfodil and Mauro Icardi did arrive, the experienced boss wants to add another experienced forward to his ranks.
According to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri are set to reignite their interest in Roma’s Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.
And while Roma are holding out for €20 million at the moment, Inter officials are hoping their Serie A rivals will become desperate as the end of the transfer window grows closer.
Seeing as how the Giallorossi do not plan to use the Italy international in the upcoming season, Inter hope a late offer could do the trick.
Namely, the Nerazzurri plan to propose a season-long loan with an option to make the transfer permanent for €15 million.
On top of that, they are hopping the player would be tempted by a four-year contract worth €3 million per campaign.
