Inter target Cavani as Dzeko alternative

Inter means summer saga! At least that is the case this year! Romelu Lukaku saga is not even close to getting over and now that is true about the Edin Dzeko rumours, as well. Provided Inter fail to sign Edin Dzeko from AS Roma this summer, they will turn their attention to Edinson Cavani.

Media in Italy claim that the deal with Roma for Dzeko has not been struck just yet. The Bosnia and Herzegovina international was seen as a cheaper alternative to Lukaku, whom they still cannot sign from Manchester United. But now Inter have not matched Roma’s asking price for Dzeko, either.

That means looking for a forward might mean looking elsewhere and Edinson Cavani could be the one. Paris Saint-Germain striker has been incredible for the Ligue 1 champions in recent years, but Inter hope they could find a deal with them. It is an interesting triangle now that might go full circle should Inter fail to sign their first two options.
