Inter Milan are set to rekindle their interest in Zenit defender Domenico Criscito, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri are set to complete the signing of Montenegrin forward Stevan Jovetic from Manchester City, and they are immediately turning their attention towards other targets.
Il Corriere dello Sport has learned that Italy international defender Domenico Criscito is the next player on their radar.
Inter hope to recruit the 28-year-old on loan with an option to buy, but the player’s €4 million yearly wage may prove to be a problem.
It is believed that Criscito would also consider a return to Genoa, where he made a name for himself, but the Rosanero have yet to make their interest concrete.
The experienced full-back has spent last four years in Russia, making 79 league appearances for Zenit, scoring 6 goals.
He has 22 Italy caps to his name, but has yet to be called by new Azzurri coach Antonio Conte.
