Inter to bid for Lavezzi
La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Inter Milan are set to rekindle their interest in PSG forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The Nerazzurri desperately need to sign a quality striker in January and they appear to be ready to return for their long-term target.
Ezequiel Lavezzi is unlikely to be offered an extension to the contract that is due to expire in June 2016, meaning a January exit might be on the cards.
The Argentine is no longer considered a first team regular at Parc des Princes, and with Laurent Blanc reportedly looking to sign a new attacker, his days in Paris seem to be numbered.
Ezequiel Lavezzi has failed to impress since arriving at PSG two and a half years back, having bagged mere 14 goals in 73 league appearances.
Casemiro set for Real return
Brazilian midfielder Casemiro will not be staying at FC Porto beyond the current season, Spanish daily AS can reveal.
The 22-year-old was loaned to the Dragons in the summer in an attempt to gain much needed first time experience and many believed the Portuguese giants would eventually turn his loan deal into permanent move.
FC Porto officials hope to do just that after the talented footballer enjoyed a great start to his career at Estadio do Dragao, but Real Madrid seem to have other plans.
Namely, los Blancos chiefs have been impressed with the Brazilian’s performances and they believe he can prove a good option for the 2015/2016 season.
Therefore, a summer return to Estadio Santiago Bernabeu appears on the cards for the player who has ended his international exile in November this year.
Since joining Porto in the summer, Casemiro has made a total of 17 competitive appearances, scoring one goal.
PSG eyeing Nico Gaitan
Portuguese media outlet O Jogo has learned that Paris Saint-Germain are keeping close tabs on Benfica star Nicolas Gaitan.
The Saints are in the market for attacking reinforcements and coach Laurent Blanc is a big admirer of the Argentina international.
PSG are expected to step up their interest in the winger in the January transfer window, although it would appear as though club chiefs are not prepared to invest considerable amount of money at the moment.
And with Gaitan’s release clause standing at €35 million, the Saints would probably have to sell before they can make a move on the Argentine.
The 26-year-old is also believed to be on the radar of Manchester United and Monaco, with Benfica looking to sell to the highest bidder.
Gaitan has been in fine form ever since he joined the Eagles from Estudiantes and he has so far managed 29 goals and 58 assists in 199 league outings.
