Inter to make £62.8m bid for Lukaku

According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Inter Milan are considering a bid believed to be worth around £62.8 million in order to try and secure the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United. The belief is that he would make the jump over to Inter on a two year loan deal, with an eventual obligation for them to buy him. The Belgian forward struggled last season with the Red Devils, but even with that being the case, a lot of Manchester United fans are surprised that they’re willing to let him go like this. He’s still one of the most deadly strikers in the Premier League and in European football as a whole, and would likely be able to do some real damage over in Serie A.

There’s still some time left for United to change their mind, but at this moment in time, it certainly seems like the deal is going to go ahead.
