According to a recent report from Sky sources, Inter Milan are set to offer £60 million plus additional fees in order to try and sign Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku. The belief is that the bid is going to be formally submitted at some point this week, with Inter wanting the deal to be structured over the course of two or three years. The deal would be a permanent one, with the add-ons allowing Inter to get closer to the official valuation which has been put forward by United.
The Premier League side initially wanted more than the £79 million that they paid Everton for the Belgian back in 2017, which is why Inter are trying to find some kind of a middle ground. Initially they wanted to sign him on a two year loan deal with a variety of different financial installments, but it feels more like United are better suited (and generally prefer) the idea of a permanent move.
