Inter Milan are hoping to sign Algerian midfielder Saphir Taider from Bologna, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.
Having looked at a number of players after starting the search for a new central midfielder, the Nerazzurri seem to have decided to pursue their interest in the 21-year-old footballer.
Inter officials are not prepared to meet Bologna’s €18 million asking price, but they, nonetheless, have a plan to lure Taider to Giuseppe Meazza.
The Nerazzurri are prepared to offer their Serie A rivals between €8m and €10 in cash, co-ownership of Rene Krhin and full ownership of midfielder Alfred Duncan.
Bologna chiefs are likely to be tempted by such an arrangement even if Taider is regarded as an important member of the side at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
The French-born midfielder made a switch to Bologna from Grenoble two years ago and has since made 48 Serie A appearances, scoring 3 goals in the process.
