Serie A outfits Inter Milan and Torino are showing interest in Guangzhou Evergrande striker Alberto Gilardino, Tuttosport can reveal.
One of the most prolific forwards in Serie A history left Italy for the first time in his career as he moved to China back in July.
However, the latest reports have suggested he is pondering a return to his native country, with quite a few top sides showing interest in his services.
According to Tuttosport, Inter Milan and Torino appear to be leading the chase at the moment and they are ready to act if Gilardino decides to return.
The 32-year-old has 175 Serie A goals to his name, with Francesco Totti and Antonio Di Natale the only active footballers to have scored more.
Gilardino has done fairly well since joining Guangzhou Evergrande in the summer, making 14 league appearances and scoring 5 goals. The striker also has 19 goals in 57 Italy caps.
