Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez has been heavily linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona, with both Spanish giants picking up interest upon learning he would be available in the summer for €111 million.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via AS), the Nerazzurri are already preparing for his departure, and the player they want to replace the 23-year-old Argentinian is Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabonese forward has been a standout performer for the Gunners for some time now, and it is believed he is growing frustrated with the club’s inability to qualify for the Champions League since his arrival. They aren’t likely to make that cut this term either as they currently sit in 10th place with 31 points, 10 less than Chelsea who are fourth.
His current contract expires in 2021 and Arsenal have been trying to get him to put his name on a new one, but he has so far been reluctant to do so.
