According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan, and a series of other Serie A clubs, are interested in signing Cristiano Biraghi. The 26 year old, who joined Fiorentina earlier this year, has thrust himself into the spotlight with his late international goal that helped Italy to defeat Poland in the UEFA Nations League. Biraghi spent many years in the youth system with Inter, but it appears as if the Italian giants are only just starting to take any real notice of him.
They’re said to be preparing to make a bid for Biraghi, although it’ll be interesting to see whether or not that bid comes in January or next summer. If they wait, then they may well be able to get a better grasp on whether he can maintain his current form over a longer period of time.
Either way given the clubs involved and the story behind it all, it’ll be intriguing to see if Biraghi is even interested in going back.
