According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan are interested in not one – but two players named Herrera. The Italian club have had a strong start to the season, building off of their success in getting back into the UEFA Champions League last year, and now they’re aiming to strengthen their squad even further. Ander Herrera and Hector Herrera have both been heavily linked with a move to the San Siro, and Inter may even try and get both of them as opposed to just one.
Ander is said to be in talks with Manchester United over a new contract, although nothing appears to be set in stone as of yet and his current deal expires next summer. He’s also been linked with a return to Spanish football, but Inter would almost certainly be able to offer him consistent first team football as well as a place in Europe’s biggest club competition.
Porto’s Hector Herrera, on the other hand, is being linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, but is also going to be out of a contract at the end of the season.
