Inter Milan have been linked with a move for Manchester City defender Micah Richards, Sky Sports understands.
The 25 year old has been admired for some time by new Inter coach Water Mazzarri, who is looking to rebuild his squad following a disappointing 2012/13 campaign, which saw the club fail to qualify for Europe for the first time in fourteen years.
Richards missed the majority of last season through injury, racking up just seven Premier League appearances, though he has turned out over 200 times for the club since making his debut as a substitute against Arsenal in 2005.
He has indicated that he would be willing spend his entire career with City, though he is yet to agree on a new contract with the club despite ongoing talks.
He has thirteen caps for England, though he has made just one appearance in the last three years.
He did however play in all four of Great Britain’s games at last summers Olympics.
