Inter Milan will launch a strong offensive to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid next summer, according to Marca.
Apparently, the Colombian attacking midfielder is unhappy with the amount of game-time he’s been getting from Zinedine Zidane at the Santiago Bernabeu this season, and is considering his options. There was a time when he was linked with Manchester United, but it seems he is not so keen on playing in England at all, as opposed to Italy, which he considers an attractive destination.
Arsenal were the first club to make an actual offer to Real – €42 million, but Real president Florentino Perez wants no less than €50m. Inter, who are investing heavily into their team in the hope of finally dislodging Juventus from the Serie A throne, are prepared to pay that much, but they will wait for the summer before making their move.
James has already been linked with an Italian club before, when it was reported that former Real boss Carlo Ancelotti was keen on taking him to Napoli.
