Brazilian media outlet O Globo claims that Inter Milan have agreed a deal to sign Santos striker Gabriel Barbosa.
The Nerazzurri have been hot on the trail of the Brazil starlet for quite some time and they reportedly had a €25 million bid accepted for his services.
Gabigol is happy to join Inter Milan and he will fly to Italy today with his agents to negotiate personal terms.
The highly rated footballer will have to wait until January before making his Nerazzurri debut, considering that he will be loaned back to Santos for the next six months.
Gabriel Barbosa is widely regarded as Brazil’s hottest prospect since Neymar, and he scored two goals in six matches to help the Selecao win the long-awaited Summer Olympics trophy.
Having also bagged 41 goals in 129 league outings for Santos, Gabigol seems ready to make the next step and try to prove his worth in Italian Serie A.
