(GSM) – Giuliano’s goal cancelled Tilson Minda’s earlier strike as Brazilian side Internacional came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Deportivo Quito in the Copa Libertadores on Thursday.

The home side from Ecuador started brightly and took the lead in the 33rd minute when Minda struck past Roberto Abbondanzieri for the opening goal.

But Internacional fired back just seven minutes later when Giuliano took a pass from Edú before slotting a shot beyond Oswaldo Ibarra.

Both sides had chances in the second half to grab the win, but they split the points in the end in the Group 5 encounter.

Internacional are second on four points through two games with Quito third with just the single point.
