Internacional have snatched striker Araujo Ilan on a free contract with the player signing a one and a half year deal.
Ilan was a free agent since June after ending a six-month contract with West Ham and the player now returns home after spending last six years in Europe.
He was delighted to finally return home and says that he has joined the best club in Brazil.
“For me, Internacional are the best club in Brazil. I had received other offers but I decided to come here.”
Araujo Ilan spent six years in Ligue 1 playing for Sochaux and Saint Etienne before moving to West Ham in January and even though he scored 4 goals in 11 league games for the Hammers, the club decided again extending his contract.
