(GSM) – Internacional qualified for the Round of 16 in the Copa Libertadores with a 3-0 victory over Deportivo Quito, who were eliminated despite finishing second.

Andrezinho fired Internacional in front in the fourth minute, and the Ecuadoreans failed to equalize before half-time.

Bolívar then extended the Internacional lead to 2-0 just past the hour mark, and Giuliano added the third in stoppage time.

Internacional will now advance to play Banfield in the next round.

Quito finished behind Flamengo on goal difference for one of the six spots open to the runners-up.
