(GSM) – Internazionale are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo. The Italian champions’ president Massimo Moratti has revealed that the club has turned their attention to the Brazil international after conceding that signing Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano is “unlikely”.
“Mascherano is a strong player, but it is unlikely that he will arrive.
“He simply costs too much and it is not certain that Liverpool will sell.
“Melo is an intriguing idea and one that we are working on,” Moratti said.
Melo, 26, could be tempted to move to Giuseppe Meazza after struggling to prove himself in Turin after his £20million from Fiorentina last summer.
