Internazionale not willing to sell Maicon

(GSM) – Serie A champions Internazionale are not willing to let go of Brazilian star Maicon and Italian striker Mario Balotelli.

Inter’s technical director Marco Branca told the club’s official website that while offers will be considered, neither player is transfer listed at the moment.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City reportedly declared interest in 19-year-old Balotelli, but Branca closed the door saying that the player “has no price”.

Maicon was arguably the best player in Brazil’s World Cup squad and gained international attention scoring from a seemingly impossible angle in the group game with Korea DPR.

Balotelli and Maicon are not the only players clubs are interested in, according to Branca: “We are in a privileged situation, after having won this much. We receive calls every day because everyone wants at least six or seven of our champions.”

Last season, Internazionale claimed the Champions League, the Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
