Inter Milan are readying a bid for Lazio striker Tommaso Rocchi, the player’s representative has revealed.
The Neroazzurri have stayed without Diego Forlan and Giampaolo Pazzini this summer, but in came Rodrigo Palacio and Antonio Cassano.
However, it appears coach Andrea Stramaccioni is keen to add another striker to the squad, with Inter now linked to Lazio forward Tommaso Rocchi.
The veteran striker’s representative has confirmed reports linking Neroazzurri with a move for the 34-year-old.
“The player’s situation was discussed but a negotiation for his transfer has yet to begin. The player would obviously think about it,” agent Fabio Parisi told Sky Italia.
Tommaso Rocchi began his career at Juventus and went on to play for Como, Treviso and Empoli before joining Lazio in the summer of 2004.
The striker quickly developed into a key player at Olimpico, where he has spent last eight seasons.
In total, Rocchi made 241 Serie A appearances for the Biancocelesti, scoring 82 goals in the process.
