Inzaghi thanks Sheva for his late goal

Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi was extremely happy about his team’s 2-0 win against Lecce which saw him score yet another goal. “It was a tough game and I’m happy because we obtained an important result,” declared the veteran striker to Milan Channel.

“Lecce were placed well on the pitch. At first we started out well, but we did not manage to open the result before; the game would have been different.

“Then the goal arrived on a set-piece. On my goal, I must thank Shevchenko because it’s all thanks to him I scored. I see him well, even during training he works well. I’m happy for the team because we are many champions and the coach has a lot of choice in deciding who to field.”
