Ipswich Town eye Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah

Ipswich Town are interested in signing Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. Ipswich will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship, and one of the players the Tractor Boys are keen on signing for the next campaign and beyond is Nketiah.

Nketiah has been on the books of Arsenal since 2015 and has established himself as a member of the first-team squad. However, the 24-year-old is a peripheral figure in the Arsenal squad and is not guaranteed a place in Mikel Arteta’s starting lineup.

The striker has made 10 starts and 17 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal this season. He has scored five goals and given two assists in those games. The Gunners are at the top of the league table at the moment with 83 points from 36 matches, a point ahead of defending champions Manchester City, who are second and have played 35 games.
