Ipswich Town eye Rangers midfielder John Lundstram

Ipswich Town are interested in signing Rangers midfielder John Lundstram in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has noted that Lundstram is out of contract at Rangers at the end of the season, and has claimed that English club Ipswich are keeping tabs on the situation of the 30-year-old.

Lundstram has been on the books of Rangers since 2021 when he joined after leaving Sheffield United. He is an important player for the Gers. The 30-year-old midfielder has made 31 starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers this season, providing four assists in the process. He has also given one assist in eight UEFA Europa League games for the Gers this campaign.

Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 78 points from 34 matches. The Gers are three points behind leaders and bitter rival Celtic. Meanwhile, Ipswich are currently second in the Championship table with 93 points from 45 matches, three points ahead of Leeds United, who are third.
